Torque depends upon the applied force
Torque also depends upon the moment arm
Moment arm is the perpendicular distance between point of application of force and axis of rotation
Torque also depends upon the angle between force and moment arm
Torque is directly proportional to applied force and moment arm
Counter-clockwise torque is taken positive while clockwise torque is taken negative
