Parallel Resistance Lab

• In parallel combination of resistances, voltage across each resistance is same i.e all resistances are directly connected to voltage source.
• The current from each resistance depends upon the value of resistance
• The equivalent resistance is always less than the largest resistance in combination

Equivalent resistance $$ \frac{1}{R_{e}}= \frac{1}{R_{1}} + \frac{1}{R_{2}} + \frac{1}{R_{3}} \cdot , \cdot , \cdot , \cdot + \frac{1}{R_{n}} $$
